Senior Taxi Beep-beep! Need a ride to the doctor's office? The grocery store? Pharmacy? Medical facility? For a one-way fee of $2.00, Alexandria's seniors can be transported via taxi to medical appointments, grocery stores, and the pharmacy. And if your medical appointment is outside the City limits, that's okay. For a one-way fee of $2.50, you can travel to any medical facility or doctor's office within five miles of the City limits. Make your reservations by calling 703.836.4414, extension 15 (Senior Taxi). You must be at least 60 years of age to use Senior Taxi. Its purpose is to help those most in need who no longer drive and need assistance. Senior Taxi is provided through Senior Services of Alexandria in collaboration with the City's Office on Aging.
