Senior Services of Alexandria operates a low-cost, sedan-based transportation service used by 750 City of Alexandria residents age 60 and older. Transportation can be provided for trips to pharmacies and grocery stores located within the City of Alexandria or medical appointments located within Alexandria and up to five miles from City limits.

Travel within the City of Alexandria limits costs $2.00 each way and trips to medical appointments located within the range of five miles outside of City limits cost $2.50 each way.

Senior Services of Alexandria reservations are available to take calls Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with the exception of Federal holidays. Transportation is provided by Alexandria Yellow Cab.
